PE days:TuesdaysWednesdaysFridays Homework Schedule:Monday: Spellings Tuesday: EnglishWednesday: Reading ComprehensionThursday: Mathematics Important dates:Sharing Assemblies: 11^th September and 23^rd OctoberEnd of Key Stage Tests (SATS): Monday 10^th May to Friday 14^th May 2010. MathsThis term we will be looking at many areas of Mathematics, including work on the four operations and shape and space. EnglishIn the coming term we will be focusing on narrative work in a range of fiction genres as well as working on developing a journalistic style. ScienceDuring this term we will be focusing on forces and how they can be measured. We will examine gravity, air resistance and magnetism. HistoryIn History we are introducing the topic of Britain since the 1930s. We will be investigating how people lived during the war years using drama, research and historical enquiry. We will also be examining original source materials from the period. ICTThis term we will be working to produce multimedia presentations that link to our History work. We will use sounds, images and a range of design features in our presentations. Design and TechnologyIn Design and Technology we will be building model air raid shelters, considering a range of specifications in our design.
